Its not a lot of use, cheap or otherwise, if you do not have a CA!! there are not too many of them around :lol:

It didn't attract a bid, so Paul's rather negative comment is probably correct, although if there's at least one CA around which with luck might be running in 30 years, then £10 for a spare seems a bargain unless there is a glut of the item at the present day. Try getting a replacement in 2040 for £10! Replacement, re-manufactured manifolds from JCS for the pre-wars are (were) over £200 each.

Would it have fitted any of the stationary engines?

All is not lost. I have already told the vendor that there was unlikely to be a bidding war for it and to contact me if it did not sell. Who knows....!
