Much after-dinner conversation at Bill and Diana's wedding, for some reason revolved around Jowett's.

Part of that discussion was about JowettTalk and how to use it. Obviously there are many whose first foray into the wonders of computers and the Internet has been stimulated by JowettTalk and JowettGallery.

They first have to come to terms with the computer and its operating system whether it be Mac or PC , Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. For that I recommend an 'xxx for Dummies' book!

Then they need to understand the 'World Wide Web' and 'browsing'. For that I recommend the articles I did in the Jowetteer and reproduced in the 'help' page on 'jowett.org'. I suggest, those with a little more knowledge help those without the knowledge by leading through these texts and pictures.

Then to master JowettTalk and the intricacies of 'Registering' and 'Logging on', please use the 'help' texts of jowett.org, and the posts in this forum on JowettTalk.

If you are still stuck, then contact Webmaster via the 'Requests' page of jowett.org or just phone him.

Of course, everybody has different ways of learning and teaching, so use this forum to assist each other and the 'Website' forum to suggest ways of improving accessability.
