What a treasure trove.
I don't think I have seen so many 1920's Jowett pictures in one place. Well found that man

Compliments of the Season,
Alastair Gregg

Old Jowett pictures
I see that they are part of the LAT archive which I believe is owned by the Haymarket company. I guess that they must have many more Jowett pictures from later years. May be the club could contact them to see if they can purchase copies of their pictures for the archives.

If you look at my Gallery page you will see in my album under '1965', a copy of the 'new members' for November 1965 (posted because it has AXY11 listed)
Coincidentally, it also lists in the Scottish Section, new member R H Grant of Dumfries with his '1922 2-cylinder Sports KU1926' (which was the ex-Major Johnstone car)
On my 2008 Vehicle Register it's listed as a 24/4/1923 registration so perhaps the register you have has a typo error ?

What an amazing site! How on earth did they gather all those plates? On that subject, did any of you ever encounter a Dutch gentleman who used to sell old brochures and photographic prints at Beulieu Autojumble in the late 'seventies (presumably taken from glass plates, such was their quality), namely of stands from the Earls Court Motor Shows of the 'twenties and 'thirties? I bought several photos of the Jowett stand from him from that period but lost them long ago. I would love to know if he eventually sold them on, perhaps somebody knows!
