If the pump goes there? That also seems to be the same place where the jack handle would go, like in this pic of Tony's Mary Ellen. (when ive got this computer figured out ill post it up)

Alan, from my memory of 'JF', the jack handle should be situated just below the pump - if you examine Ians photo of the bulkhead you will see one smaller clip to the left hand side just below the pump!

Ian, what colour does she now sport? Also, it would be fantastic to be able to read your original article of the Godfrey in the Gallery section, but it is too small: is there any way you could post it again?

Alan, as Ken says there are clips below and outboard of the pump ends - I didn't put the T bar in for the photo because it's indoors drying above a radiator !

Ken, the avatar was for Jowett Talk - KC loaded it for me, I'll ask him to also put it into JT.

You will need the original, scanned at 600dpi preferably, to be readable.

The jack, jack handle and tyre pump pictured appear to be standard Jowett equipment. Identical items were supplied new with Bradfords in NZ in the 1950's.

I'm not surprised that the jacks etc were similar throughout the two-cylinder phase.

Yes Joan and I will be there. We are looking forward to a great weekend full of Jowetts and then intend to take some time out to travel and look at some of the places we frequented when we were doing our big OE back in the 70's.

I've found a pump, by coincidence work had been clearing out the work shop as its recently been taken over by my fellow work collegue and he found had this old pump which was/is not working at present as was going to scrap, I quickly got in there and saved it. It is identical to pictures as Ian shows. I'm also wondering what else comes in the tool kit?
