Don't know how to make it go slower on the screen, so can't see the numberplate, but isn't it one of the model Javelins rather than a restored actual car?

Tony.

Spanish Javelin

Yes, the entrance picture is a model. I stopped it spinning long enough to see the registration of JKW 107

He is working on the restoration and that part of his site seems to be under construction.

Hi, I'm the creator of the website www.jowettjavelin.com, and the owner of the Javelin is my father, Moisés Escolà.
The website is under construction, the section of restoration and links.

Indeed the model of the intro is a miniature, not if the enrollment is real, but I have lots of art works that are coming on the web, and possibly a version of the site in English.

Regards, long live the Jowett!

Hello Moises Jr

Welcome to the Forum . Nice web work in www.jowettjavelin.com.

You and I have found our worlds touch in different places, Facebook and Flikr to name but two. Its good to see your Dads Javelin looking ready for the final assembly. I like the colour chosen, there don't seem to be many of that colour in England.
I was over in Madrid on business about 6 weeks ago.

If I can help with any of the translation work for your English site let me know. The difficulty is I don't speak Spanish! :D

Thank you very much for offering translation, when I have translated can also assist a correction.

The car is being painting some of its parts, the color will be british racing green or brooklands, better known as green Jaguar.

Soon I'll finish updating the website to keep up to date the javelin unique status in Spain.

A greeting

BRG Versus White

Post by Alastair Gregg »

Ah, I see the quality of the finish and the fact that the trim was back on the car suggested that the colour was going to be white.

The colour is what ever you choose and I'm sure it will be great if that is the quality of the undercoat.

I assume its Left Hand Drive, looking at the picture it could be either.

Keep up the good work!

Jowett

Post by Drummond Black »

Hi Moises Jnr, Drummond here. Can you recall the trip in my Jupiter from the Le Mans circuit back to our hotel in June 2000 when we all gathered at Le mans. 62 miles ( 100 Kms ) in the middle of the night and you were only wearing a tee shirt. Can't believe it is over 9 years ago.

Of course I remember the first time you ride in a Jowett Jupiter, spend a little cold but it was amazing.
It's really incredible that pass nearly 10 years, I hope to go with the Javelin to LeMans, Spa... and convince my father to go to Monte Carlo historique, a dream.

Greetings
