Hi all. With the forthcoming copy of the Jowetteer, you will receive an Information Leaflet and Booking Form for the Jowett Centenary International Rally.
Overseas members who would like an electronic copy of the documents please PM me.
We are looking forward to welcoming you all to Yorkshire next May. We have tried to put together a traditional rally with additional elements relating specifically to Jowett History. We hope that this will be popular.
This year we are asking for a £50.00 booking deposit plus the balance in as many post dated cheques as you wish dated no later than 1 April 2010 to accompany your booking. If you stage your payments in this manner we will present your cheques within 2 weeks of their date.
Sorry, I omitted from the form the little detail of whom to make the cheques payable to. This should be "Jowett Rally 2010".
Once again the rally committee thanks Tom Chapman for his support and sponsorship of the rally and for his assistance in making provision for overseas member to pay by credit card

Centenary Rally in Wakefield May 2010
This of course is going to be a 'BIGEE'!
A little bird told me that Nezley and George Dawson, Joy and Neil Hood and Sue and Bill Ebzery from the New South Wales (Sydney) Section of the Jowett Car Club of Australia are hoping to come over here to attend the Rally - So that's three rooms already booked.
Bill is the President, Neil the Secretary, and Nezley the Editor of the New South Wales Section.
I'm really looking forward to this as Noel Stokoe and myself are members of the NSW branch. Perhaps other Antipodean Jowetteers will accompany them. I'd really like to meet Keith Andrews from N.Z. whose 'creative spelling' lightens our lives almost every day.
I've a feeling that if you want to come to Wakefield, you'd better book asap and not leave it until it's too late. I assure you that there won't be any late deals, and if you aren't in the main hotel you won't experience in toto the camaraderie that exists between the members of the various Jowett Car Clubs.
If you haven't yet sorted yourselves out, then GET TO IT
Tony.

Don't you worry about us from the antipodes Tony! Will be good to catch up with you again
Here in Kiwiland there is a lot of interest and already we have 18 coming with others still considering. This is a big and expensive journey for us and all are staying on over there and making it a special holiday.
Look forward to meeting those of you who we met at Crieff and others, especially if there are more than 100 Jowetts gathered for this 100 year event.
Cheers
