Racing Javelins - Silverstone 52,53 and 54

Hello. I own an MG YB saloon that raced in the production car races at Silversone 52 to 54. These were the forerunners of what became the BTCC and were sponsored by the Daily Express. My car raced against works Javelins each year (between 2 and 4 of them) and beat them every year to win its class three years in a row. The race was won overal by S Moss in a Jaguar mk VII in 52 and 53 and by I Appleyard in the same in 54. I was wondering if any of the Javelins that took part survive as I thought we might have a reunion in 2012! Any news greatly appreciated. Thanks. Marc

I have raced at Silverstone many times against MGs; but in the 80s and 90s. Look forward to your posts on the site. We will need to do some research to see if the actual cars exist still. I suspect they do not; although we may be able to find ones that raced in the 60 onwards.
