Im not 100% convinced that there is a difference in the coils
Some yrs back a wrecking yard with old cars was closing down...
I grabbed every traficator I could find, out of old rovers, morris, Fordson, old trucks.
Other than a change in the lens and the outter housing and brackets they where all near identical inside.
The pair I put inthe Braddy . If I forget and leave on, they do get quite warm, and do have to cool down before will work effectively again...If warm they dont have the strength to flick all the way out.
My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'

The coils are certainly specified only for intermittent use and will overheat if left on. Since it is an inductance the back emf would also protect the coil initially from resistive heating.
See details here on both 6 and 12v units.

I gave a lift to a Canadian and an American racing driver and their partners at Goodwood, who remarked ' Gee look at those; do they both come out when you brake'.

I explained that although Ben Shaw added some electrical (not electronic) wizardry that provided indicators, trafficators, hazard warning and brake light indication on the dashboard, that air braking was not needed at the speeds the Javelin normally went at.

Back to the original topic, Eric Hihnala has a super LHD lorry in Finland and I have just received pictures of a derelict one on Denmark. Anyone interested in a challenge?

A trip to Denmark? I have been trying to find somewhere to go or something to do for our 25th wedding anniversary next month, but i don't think putting a trailer on the jeep before we left home would go down very well

Oooo Err,

Like Roger its my 25th soon and we had already decided to go and see the Northern lights but up in Norway. There may be objections particularly if I had to show her what I was loading. Had you thought about contacting Ib Rasmussen as he is very keen on all things Jowett?
Compliments of the Season,
