I have been doing a bit to my E0 engine and have taken a series of photos which I've put in the Engine sub-album on my Gallery site together with comments which appear when you click on the photo. All this with a view to having a bit of a database for future reference. I would appreciate any constructive comment or correction on what I've done so far.
Can anybody supply or point me in the direction of info/sources for the liner clamp plates and spacer/support tube?

Dear Tim,
Bill Lock has new-manufacture cylinder liner clamps of the cast aluminium type. Their primary function is to support the cylinder head gasket. The cast version does this task better, having greater wall thickness.
When I install new ones, I counter-bore the base bore to suit a thick 'O' ring that is a good fit around the cylinder head stud and is firmly compressed as the cylinder head is tightened down. Stops water migration.
Another piece of technical information!
