Veterans on the Vineyard Routes + The XXth Revival run on the Pietro Bordino Circuit



The Veteran Car Club Pietro Bordino of Alessandria in the Peidmont region, would like to invite veteran/classic car owners from UK car enthusiasts clubs to take part in a veteran/vintage/classic car rally in northern Italy starting Friday 29th May and ending Sunday 31st May 2009.



Provisional details of the route and programme of activities are in the attached document.



Free accomodation and meals would be provided for the Friday and Saturday nights, plus the gala dinner and the prize giving on the Sunday afternoon.



The Italian club is able to host up to 10 cars with teams of two people (sharing a twin room)............... so, first come, first served.



All travelling/insurance and any other expenses to and from the event or additional nights accomodation will be self funded by the UK attendees.



Participating cars should ideally be manufactured before or around 1950, but an exception could be made for special or unusual vehicles up to 1970.



The event is held annually and is not a race but does have some timed stages, plus a timed lap event on the Pietro Brodino circuit in the Citadella Alessandria.



The rally is an occasion for gathering together veteran and classic car owners and enthusiasts for inspecting and appreciation of the vehicles followed by a scenic drive through beautiful villages, hills and vineyards, stopping of course for a typical lunch of the regional cuisine (usually about 3 hours).



I hope the members of your car club with suitable vintage vehicles will be interested in this event. I would be grateful if you would pass on the invitation to your members.
