Spare Parts Information Requested

I have just completed a project whereby Javelin and Jupiter spare parts catalogues for 1948, 1950, 1951 and 1952 have been combined into one document on CD, This was a much greater job than anticipated, but the task has been completed -- as far as possible.

However, after compiling all the information, I have found some gaping holes with respect to the Jupiter's spare parts listing. There was no mention at all of the SA Model windscreen frame, nor was there any mention of the wooden dash board, its end plates and the cover plate (to which the rear vision mirror screws onto). There is no mention of the wood door cappings and the door trim panel seems to be the same for both sides - maybe on the SC, but certainly not for the SA! Information for the Jupiter trim is also sparse with respect to LHD components.

The Jupiter Part Number system seems to be very haphazard, In a group, there could be:

53596, 1.55670, 1B56627, 1A.56878

In addition to that, a RHS component may be 53556, but the LHS version of the same component would carry 1B56246!

The above numbers are are imaginary and are examples only.

This is serious stuff.

Does anyone out there know if there were any listings for SA and SC models? Surely there must be some records preserved somewhere?

The Jupiter must have caused headaches for dealer and company spares staff. Today, we could suss out the Internet or pick up a telephone and ask for information, In those far off days, most correspondence was by written letter!

If anyone can help with this quest, it would be greatly appreciated.

Referring to missing information on LHD cars, have you seen any spares information for the gear linkage for a LHD Javelin, or the master cyllinder layout?
