Petrol tank removal on an SA

After removing the spare wheel carrier, petrol filler cap and luggage box. How easy is it to access and the remove petrol pipe and sender unit wire? Car obviously jacked up. Any advice

Like everything Jowett things may be more difficult than they first appear. The set screws holding the sender might be solid. First check continuity on wire to gauge, then with that wire disconnected check resistance to battery earth terminal which of course should change with the level in the tank. A common fault is bad earth from sender unit to battery terminal. Only take sender unit out if you have open circuit from sender terminal to the sender body. Even then sometimes repeated filling and emptying of tank will remove corrosion on the actuator fingers and coil.
