Help on Jowett Member Services

Some of the screens have changed slightly for 2025.
Below is a sequence going through registration and joining the club.
More explanations may be added later.
Use URL https://jowett.net and click on the Members tab at the top

Choose your country and enter your phone number. Click verify. Correct if you get an invalid message.

If correct, the next screen shows the formatted phone number.

Please read the notes so you know what will happen next.

Click the tick box and enter your names and email address.
Note the required format of the password which does not have to be very strong as you will use the key that is sent to you by email to access the Member Services. Look at your email straight away after clicking VERIFY EMAIL.

Click the ACTIVATION button

Enter the Password you just entered. Use the SHIFT key for upper case letters.

The system checks your access privileges and available role before presenting you with the Menu of Services available to you.

If you have just started joining the club then you should click JOIN.
But if you only got through part of the Joining process then the COMPLETE JOIN button should be selected.

Other services are available even for non members, but many more will become available when you join any of the 4 Jowett clubs.

When you Click the JOIN menu button the system displays the information currently stored by the registration process.

Please check and correct and click CHECK CHANGES button before clicking the NEXT STEP button.

The next screen asks for your Address details.
Note the system has stored your Contact record. Please check for the green message confirming this.

Note the black and purple messages showing there are errors.
Please correct these by entering your address and clicking CHECK CHANGES.

More errors or warnings might be detected.
So click the relevant buttons to correct them or manually correct.

This screen now only has a warning so you are now able to click NEXT STEP to save your address in the database to move onto the next step.

The next step is choosing a section to belong to and to say if you can offer or want various services from the club.
This is followed in the next step where you choose the membership type and other services and give your consent to having your details made available to other members so they can contact you an to become part of the club.

Once you have entered and checked the details click the MEMBERSHIP button. Notice this screen says it has written a record to the db (database). Also notice what is recorded in the history log.

You may then go to pay your subscription by clicking Subscribe.

The next step is where you choose your method of payment.

If you are happy with your selection click the PAYING button
If you choose to pay by Debit, Credit or PayPal then when you click PAYING button a screen will open to pay using this website.
If you are using another method then please pay using your chosen method, after clicking the CONFIRM SUBSCRIPTION button. button.

Remember to click the CONFIRM SUBSCRIPTION button, otherwise the membership sec and treasurer will not be alerted and your membership details will not be recorded in the system. Do this whichever method you choose including PayPal.

This will bring up the Suscription Payment Details screen. Notice this is recorded in the database and confirms emails have been sent to treasurer and membership sec.

Then you can relax or enter your Vehicle Details. Remember to logout out though as a security measure.
If you want to later you can login again using your Activation Key and Password to see progress on your application and use the Member Services.
