Jup body moulds

Post by Forumadmin »

Great opportunity for a terrific project.
For the real enthusiast who wants to start a new business building Jupiter Bodies here is your chance. As there are a number of rolling chassis about and insufficient bodies, there is a market for the construction of replica bodies in a material other than aluminium to save expense.
I have available the mould taken off my entire Jupiter # 72 when it had been beaten straight and before the paint was applied. The mould has been strengthened to prevent distortion and was produced by Ian Johnson famous for his JWF racing cars. From an early Jupiter body, it has the integral tail lights which look so much better than the latest “add ons”.
The mould has had several bonnets made from it already, but the rest of the body parts are there as well. The individual panels, just like the aluminum version, are separate and have a lip which allows them to be bolted together with a fabric strip between the guards as were the original panels.
Besides the mould there is also rolling Chassis #13 complete with its original engine and gearbox but no instruments. A spare engine and gear box can also be supplied if required.
