I took the seven along to a local summer fair where they were displaying some vintage cars, the term vintage being from the before 1930s, all the cars there were from 30s onwards and mine being the oldest there.
And got commented on how it was the most interesting there, compared to all the morris and mg and truimphs.
The day was cloudy in the morning but dry then the rain came and absolutely bucketed it down. I have many leaks, number 1 biggest is the sun roof is leaking from front and back, the windcreen is also leaking inside the window with a slight drip down inside of the screen. And another leak is if i go through a puddle too fast because I dont have carpet at the moment me and the passenger also get a good soaking.
What actions should I take and methods would be good to stop these leaks? I know the window rubber is in fairly good order but its still dripping in.

Hi Allan
it sound as if a wet suite may be the way forward!. Sunshine roofs do have a tendency to leek as they rely on water that psses doen between the sliding & fixed parts of the roof being able to drain swiftly - have you checked that the drains are free from obstuction . Prabable better to remain carpetless untill you have sorted floor leeks out as carpet will hold damp. Its a question of establishing exactly which join in the floor is the culprit - drive through a ford or big puddle with a mate carefully watching for the ingress point of the water or sprincle talcum powder all over floor & proceed through water so talc will be washed awy at point of ingress.
Some ingress of water in severe conditions is inevitable with pedal holes & joints in floorboards etc & it is unrealistic to expect to achieve modern welded bottoms standard - although even new ones can leek!

There are many types of specialist sealants and chalking products used in the automotive industry.
Have a look at the body seams on modern cars...
Your local panel beater tradesman will be able to advise you what to use where...and may even give his heart a rub, loan u a tube and just pay for what u use instead of buying full tubes of sealant...
And Carpentry /building sealants for wood etc
Clear Bathroom silicone sealer is also good..BUT do not use these acetic acid based silicones on bare metals.
