Hi there,
To those who might be interested, there are some interesting items on eBay just at the moment.
There is Ian Kemp's red Jupiter, item number 11027070333, currently at £5,500.
There are a NOS set of distributor drive gears sold as suitable for a Jowett 7 1930/37. These are at 0.99p at present with no bids yet and are item no. 160262999227.
Finally, there is a hot rod Javelin!! This may shock many of you, but it doesn't look at all bad in the advert's photos. It has a Rover V8 installed and has used a 1949 car as the basis. It uses a Capri axle. The registration number is KXN 145, which assuming this is original, I cannot see in the club register. Sometimes, the thought of a different engine does appeal! Anyway, it would certainly turn heads at a IJR. I wonder who would be brave enough to bring it on the Rally field?
The item number is 170242049433 and it currently has a bid of £500.
I should add that I have absolutely no connection with any of the advertisers.
Happy bidding!
David
