Javelin Donor Vehicle Wanted

Post by ThomOil »

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some help with a bit of a project I've recently acquired and lined up in my yard, I'm looking for a Javelin donor car / shell to rebuild and fit onto a '52-'56 Ford F250 Chassis (Probably with a BMW 3.0 Engine to start with but I'll be looking for a V8 to fit in the future) as a 4 door crew cab for the truck. I understand that this will mean removing a large portion of the rear of the car behind the "C" Pillars and widening the shell considerably to fit (And that this may cause some concern among some enthusiasts which I fully understand and actually agree with to a large degree)

NO CLEAN RUNNING EXAMPLES PLEASE. All I'd really need to build it the way I'd like is the shell at least from front bulkhead to C Pillars and ideally all the doors if they're there to make it easier to use the space in the back so I'm looking for one in poor condition to use, I don't mind if it's completely rotten, if it's got a seized engine, missing parts or it's buried in bushes and not moved for 30 years. I've got no intentions of cutting up a good car but I'll happily take one that would otherwise end up in a scrapyard somewhere instead and give it a new life.

I'd also be putting all unused parts / body cuts etc up for free on here and happily store them until they find somebody to put them to good use if I find a donor and may be able to deliver them for free too depending on location / when I'm travelling that way etc. I'd also be looking to join the owners club if I get a Jowett based shell on there (And if they'd let me in / consider it worthy of course)

If anyone has any leads or questions feel free to post them on here or PM me, Warwickshire based but happy to travel throughout England and Wales.

Many thanks in advance.
