hi back in 1964 i bought a javlin ex6660i think it was a 50 car, in black this was my first car , had plenty of trouble with it but as a apprintice at a ford dealership nothing deterred me, of course the engine died so rebuilt that , at that time jowett spares was still running , mods to the heads raised cr new woodhead racing dampers all round it was a great car 90 mph was on , but as all thing a wet and rainy night a standard vanguard stopped in front of me , i pulled up only to be hit by a triumph herald , that smashed me into the vanguard, well it drove home but in a sorry state all the rear sections had collapsed due to tin worm the insurance co wrote of my lovely old javlin , then i became a volvo owner still am at 79
