Concours Javelin for sale

1952 PD Deluxe Javelin, beautifully restored by the late Martin Howman helped by Sid Bradford and Vic Morrison, to Concours winning standard. Has been rallied in both Islands, not only for the Jowett Car Club, but many other Classic Car Rallies as well.

Interior has been correctly retrimmed with new leather (not vinyl) and is stunning. It was professionally painted a lovely red which looks very smart indeed. The engine was completely overhauled at the time and has been well maintained since. Has been extremely reliable over time. There was no expense spared on this restoration.

As over the last 2 or 3 years Martin’s health was not so good it has not been used, just sitting in the garage but regularly started and warmed up so a good polish all round would be all that’s needed to bring it back to full glory.

Asking $15,000 ono (just a fraction of the restoration cost).

In the first instance please contact Vic Morrison 027 438 1230 (on behalf of Martin’s wife).

Your interest in the forum: I now own Javelin E0 10010 (formerly Robin Fairservice's car in British Columbia). I spent some time figuring out a terrible racket in the engine and it will be used in the summers, alongside my collection of British obscurities (well, they are obscure here in N America).

I'll be looking for technical help, spares, and the sort.

EDIT: 027 country code is South Africa, so I'm really confused.

I see a dollar sign and mention of both islands, so I'm guessing this is in New Zealand?

Yes, 027 is an NZ area code for one of the mobile networks.

So dialing from outside NZ you would be +64 27 ....
