JowettTalk is coming of age.

The first post on JowettTalk was on 9 Nov 2001. So it is nearly 21 years old.

This was superceeded in 2006 by the current forum but the important postings were moved across.

Jowetteers may now use Facebook, in preference to JowettTalk, but many of the original users are still posting on JowettTalk. It is amazing to read the deliberations of the knowlegeable sages on Jowetts from around the world, some of whom are sadly no longer with us.

JowettTalk is much better for conversations than Facebook as it keeps converations (or topics) in a more organised structure. It also has vast resources of knowledge in the various library sections and documents that can be searched in the archive.

But you can use both to converse with like minded people. It is good to (Jowett)Talk!
