Thanks Drummond and team for an outstanding IJR in Crieff at the Hydro.
I had a wonderful time.
'Sarah Jane' was 'on song' all the way there and back, as well as around the glorious scenic run. She managed to clock-up 610 miles in the company of other contemporaries.

Hi there,
After a gentle journey home down the East Coast of Scotland and England, we arrived safely back in Somerset with 1240 miles added to the clock over the 10 days. It only rained once!
What a smashing Rally! Congratulations to everyone on the Crieff 08 Rally Committee. Everything went really well. Excellent hotel, good food, blue skies and lovely location. The scenic run was really impressive and our Javelin, named 'Black Shadow' by our grandchildren, seemed to enjoy every minute! We even saw snow on the hills!
We did have a bit of bother with the (in) famous rear timing cover gasket when we arrived at the hotel, but two hours of 'spannering' in the hotel car park, and lots of help from fellow Severnsider John Airey, saw us back on the road. Many thanks and thanks too to Bill Lock for the spare gasket.
Whatever the Rally Committee did, it was 'spot on'. Many thanks to all concerned.
Roll on Bideford!
