1932/33 under bonnet

Post by k. rogers »

Would anyone have an under bonnet shot of an original 32 type 7, please? I am struggling to work out the correct positions and routes of the wiring loom on my Kingfisher.

Hi Ken.
Saw the request, but can't help on this occasion.
Perhaps a greater chance if request is put in Jowetteer.
Tony.

I have just used Member Services and used the Search Vehicle Service to find five cars registered in 1932 that are owned by members.
This will tell you more information about the vehicle but normally not tell you the owner. But you can then return to the menu and display the membership list which also displays the vehicle details. You can then use the find on page function on your browser to find the registration number( or other detail such as 1932) and hence the car's owner.
So you can do the same and then contact those members.

Unfortunately Ken, the only Kingfisher listed is owned by you!

Thanks Keith. Actually any 32 or 33 model will do as it's the bulkhead design which dictates where the loom goes!

An update, Mike Kavanagh is kindly going to phone me while he has his Blackbird beside him, so should be able to shed some light on how to route this loom.
