You may have noticed a new button at the top of the JowettTalk screen.
After about three months work I have managed to integrate the Search Server that was on a PC at home into the website server in the Cloud.
The search server may have a few teething problems and there is a lot more development to come as the server has many interesting features.
Currently if there are more than 10 items found by the system you cannot go to those following these most highly ranked ten. I have to do some more programming .
Currently you have to download the file and search using your pdf viewer. But I have tested a viewer that replaced the old one which no longer works on the cloud server.
Currently the system does not perform phonetic or like word or partial searching, but I should be able to include this.
Currently the server does not crawl the JowettTalk posts but you can use the search box to do this.
Currently iterative search of sub-sets of search results is not implemented.
Currently you need to have a session with Member Services to do the video search.
