Went for a drive last weekend

Post by BarryHarding »

Johanna and I took our Bradford to the South West of Western Australia last weekend, aside from excessive oil leaking from the fuel pump the car performed very well, distance covered was 870kms over 4 days.
Fuel consumption was around 34.5 mpg for most of the trip, however one section with many steep hills, mostly 2nd gear with some low gear, it was down to 22.5 mpg. The area is known for great beaches and tall trees (Karri can grow to 350ft+), it rained the whole time so we didn't go to the beach. Not really known for emus, but there were a few around anyway.
