Crank handle location

Post by BarryHarding »

I believe the Bradford crank handle is stored under the bonnet somewhere, but I can't work out where.
I have some clips that I think are supposed to hold it, but just can't see where they are meant to go.
Can anybody help with this very minor problem?
Regards
Barry

Hey Barry,
Are you actually getting your Braddie ready for the road?

My Bradford has been on the road for some months, it has already travelled over 1000 miles without any major issues.

I would post a pic here, but I can't seem to get that to work

Two ways to post a picture
1. Select from your File Explorer, drag and drop onto the post text box where you type your message.
2. Click attachments tab (below the message box) 'Add Files' and select one or more files from File Explorer browsing window that is displayed.
This applies to Windows but similar is possible on Apple and Android devices. Please be more specific as to what the issue is.
Large image files take a long time to upload on a slow link. JowettTalk will resize them before storing, but doing on your device before uploading might be better.

The clips fit on the inner wing panel on the right hand side. ( that is on a utility) very well located for catching your hand on the spark plug! If it’s a van the clips go on the right hand “B” post and the end drops through a hole into the tool box

That's the plan.
As my mate Bill often says "you gotta have a plan"
Hope it goes ok, it is about a 4500 mile round trip, still I've got about 18 months to prepare for it.

Thanks Paul, it is a van, so I will look into that.

Keep us posted on your plans. I always regret not doing the Armadale to Armidale journey.
I ended up using Mike's Javelin to go from Melbourne.
