Javelin S Sport

Post by David Kemp »

Browsing the internet I found mention of a Javelin S. This was supposedly about 15 Javelins fitted with Jupiter motors & rear axle ratios. They also had tachometers.
Does anyone know if this is correct? If so do any survive?
It must be one of the 1st examples of making a GT from the left over spares box. :D
Good memories of Bradfords.

Never heard of that. Although our Javelin has a tacho in place of the clock but that was done by the first owner. Many Javelins would have had the modifications suggested in the sporting booklet done.
I doubt if any had a Jup diff fitted as Different width although maybe different gearing was available. Overdrives were fitted.
