Pressre guage tubing is not critical...
Plastic tubing is best left along and use copper/
What size u require with more or less depend on what fitting are on the rear of the pressure gauge.
The engine end one can usually purchase the corect fittng, or adapters to fit from local hydrolic service companies.

Alan.

You will need access to a flaring tool if you're going to renew the pipe on your car.

A bit of PTFE tape might also be useful, but make sure it doesn't block the orifice at either end.

Another tip:- Make sure you put the nuts on the pipe before flaring the ends!!

If the seal on the gauge isn't tight, the passenger gets oily knees.

Best wishes,

Tony.

Are the vintage flared or ferrel?
I replaced my capliiary tube in the Bradford not long back I rem the engine used a ferrel but the gauge cant rem...I do rem getting several ferrels at the time

Sry but I tend to sudder a little when ppl use seal tape on brass fittings..ferrels/flares these should all be in good condition and so long as not over tightened the will seal for a life time.
