Temp guage.

Post by rob needs »

The gauge i have on the car does not read correctly.I have another capillery type guage, but the end has a male fitting as apposed to the female thats on the Javelin.I have stuck the end of this spare one in the rad top,and it gets higher up the guage than the car one.Can these guage's be repaired,or has anyone used a different set up?.

They can be repaired fairly easily. You could do it with some ether (the stuff that sends you to sleep); but there are also repairers who can recondition.
