Further to this and the Bill Lock & Associates thread, I hope Bill is able to get his web site up and running again soon, I have found it very useful to refer to and get an idea of prices etc.
It occurs to me to ask whether JCS have a current stock list, and whether an online system has been considered so that members 'far afield' can see what is available?

November's Jowetteer magazine has an apology from Bill about the "lack of availability" in the last few months, as he was away from home.
His new list of spares "will be available" in the near future, and will be posted on a "re-newed website".
There are a few new additions to his stock.
Jowett Car Spares also has an entry in the same edition of the Jowetteer, listing oval-web crankshafts for the post-war vehicles, and newly-produced vintage cylinder castings, the latter being on a 'first come, first served' basis at £470 per barrel.
Good to know that our Jowetts could quite possibly be around for the next 100 years.

Yhankyou for all of that. I have sent a parcel with a letter to Bill via airmail.
I haven't seen a Jowetteer for a couple of years, so I have re-joined the JCC (UK) to get my own copy. I hope the November copy will be sent to me.
Those cylinder barrels sound interesting. I saw an Austin 7 cylinder block (new manufacture) and very impressuve it looked too. Your pricing seems very reasonable. Probably too dear for the thoroughbred Jowetteer though!
