Just wanted to thank the Northern Section for putting on a splendid display of cars at Bradford Industrial Museum.
Despite the lousy weather yesterday. I was pleased to see so many cars, some of which I have never seen. It was very nice to meet up with members of the JCC whom I hadn't seen since last May's JAW. Together with a number of former employees from the Jowett factory.
And it was very nice, to meet Ben Jowett's daughter. Who at 90 yrs is still very much on the ball.
I think that for me there were two cars of the show. The first being Peter Greenwood's immaculate SC Jupiter which he has, together with Nigel Morley, just finished restoring. My other car was a very unrestored but perfect, 1930 Short Two fabric saloon.

I also was very interested in the 1930 short fabric saloon. It is owned by John Foster of Sheffield. It has only done about 20,000 miles in its long life and is almost original except for a few necessary details.
Over 20 years ago, Ian P and myself went down to Sheffield to meet John and inspect the car, which was mostly dismantled, and welcome him into the Club.
It was great to renew our aquaintance.
