Bugger me! What can I say about Bradfords, they go like the clappers - or it feels that way. The bi-annual rally between Queensland and New South Wales has just been completed at the inland NSW township of Wee Waa (pronounced Wee War) Miss Red Riding (also know as 'AND'), my 6 year old grand daughter and the BST president (me) headed off for our 1200km round trip on a chilly Friday morning.
We fairly scorched along at between 70 and 90 km per hour and because I'm a soft touch, my grand daughter saw to it that I gorged myself on hot chips and chocolate bars. Anyway to the point, the Bradford was effectively at full throttle for the complete round trip, gave numerous kids and adults rides around the township of Wee Waa, returned 25 miles to the gallon and performed _as every BST member would expect - flawlessly. The "Green Hornet"piloted by the second fastest man at Armidale "Deadly Dougie"was much quicker.[The fastest being son Chris,who throwing caution and his inheritance to the wind was just lucky.]
Electricians from allover NSW came to view the famous Rath Bradford supported by the Rath Javelin all the way from QLD.
The president didn't even cross the border in his Braddy.
