I took the jav out on the normal run i do,and the temp stayed below the 75c.So i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new recon rad has done the trick.

The wipers managed to stop on the run, they seemed to be going faster than normal, then they stoped.I took the right hand fuse out, then droped it down behind the rad,so i couldn't see if it was blown.

Anyhow,i stuck a new fuse in and they worked.I'v got a feeling thats not the end of the wiper saga.

Hello pat,
Yes i did the old tights trick when i had the old rad in the car, especialy after putting the block seal in. I think i'll do it again now with the recon rad.

I'v filled the rad up with de-ionized water and anti freeze 50% each. When i had a look in the top,the water looked a bit of a whitey colour.I think this is because its got the new cores. The bloke said the new rad now has 4 rows of cores.

Used the car to go to the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford. This is by Swindon, the temp stayed the right side of 75c so i was well pleased with that.Must have been over 100 miles, especialy the way i went home :D.
