Croquet day date wrong!

2nd Annual Jowett Croquet Day – 14th July 2018
An invitation to join The Midlands Section Croquet Day on Saturday 14th July.
The event is hosted by Ashby Croquet Club in Moira, near Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire.
The outline for the day is as follows:
11.00 am Coffee at Conkers Waterside, Moira
12.00– 4.00 pm Croquet on the lawns
4.30 pm Late lunch at Globe Inn, Snarestone

Last year’s event was great fun and attended by several members from other regions. Quite a few beginners were surprised at how quickly they got to grips with the game and coaching is available for anyone who has never played before!
It would be most helpful to ascertain the likely numbers, as soon as possible in order to confirm my booking with the Globe Inn. They are able to offer a restricted 2/3 course menu (with vegetarian option), costing £19.95 for the 3-course option. Apart from the morning coffee the other cost is the hire of the croquet lawns @ £5 per person.
