Thank you all for all the replies to my posts ,as you can tell my new purchase has a few issues to deal with ,nothing that I wasn't expecting
The first time I filled up with petrol it became apparent there was a leak from the top of the tank ,does anyone know how the tank is removed ,does it come down or do I have to lift the rear floor section an take the tank upwards ,your help would be appreciated

Hi Nigel - we missed you and Ann on Sunday! May I suggest giving Geoff a call as his 8 is the same year and I should imagine has the same petrol tank.

I don't know how it comes out. The previous owner of my 10 got a new stainless steel one made. Never rust again and life time guarantee lol
