Hello James.
Shame we can't see the other end of the steel rod with the nut on it (top middle).
If it has a heavy duty clevis-type fork on it, and it's about 7" (ish) long, then it may just be the steering box steady-rod (support stay) from the early 30's steering box to chassis.

It does not Tony, sorry.
Just the stud hanging out of the big iron thing.
I think I will just weigh it in! Do you want the timing gears? All my stuff is vintage.

Hello again James.
Thanks for the offer, but I have enough for my needs.
If no-one else is interested, perhaps if you could give them to a member that attends the Exec. meetings, they would eventually find their way to Jowett Car Spares. Someone, someday might just need them.
Tony.

Hi James

Do the sprockets look worn? During my engine rebuild last year, I replaced some which were completely worn out for some which were just worn out. I'm planning to machine up some from new blanks at some stage, but if I could find some decent second hand .........

Pretty good I would say Barry.
You can have them. Where do you live?
I am at Goodwood all weekend and will put them in my car. Phone me if that helps.
