Javelin floorboards

Post by Tim Neville »

As most of you know, the floorboard comes in 4 pieces (at least in my E0 it does). I can't see any good reason why I can't make the new floor in one piece and then form all the cut outs and holes. Am I missing some vital point?
I would also appreciate any other advice, experience, comment re. floor replacement.

Hello Tim.
This is exactly what I did years ago. I reasoned that one piece, provided it was of substantial thickness and was well supported would be preferable to smaller pieces. No real problems as far as I remember- except fitting that foot well is probably more difficult with one piece.

Good luck!

Paul
