I can second that; not only the wonderful tales from owners and period road tests, but also the many colour images from original sales brochures, plus excellent photos of pre-war Jowetts make this book a must-have! Well done indeed Noel.

My copy arrived on Friday, and. I haven't put it down.

It really is a good book, worth every penny.

Dad of cause is gutted that he hasn't got a copy :D
But We did have a laugh when I showed him the pictures of our Red and Black 8hp.

I would just like to thank Tony for starting this post off.

I have enjoyed working on this book, as I do feel that over the years Pre-War Jowetts have not had the publicity, that in my opinion they deserve, as most articles tend to favour the post-war Javelin and Jupiter models.

I also enjoyed writing my previous book, Jowetts of the 1920s, in 2013, but at that time I was restricted to a format of 96 pages, whereas this time I have been allowed 146 pages, so there is much more to read this time around!

I am delighted to say that the book has already had very favourable reviews in The Automobile magazine, and Classic & Sportscar magazine, so I am hoping more will follow!

I am very grateful to my dear friend, Anne Sumpner, who has very kindly agreed to sell copies of the book on my behalf at the Former Employee’s Reunion, as it is Jane and my 45th wedding anniversary on the same day and we are in France celebrating.

Thank you all again for your kind comments, I am most grateful to you. Noel
