St George's Day - FBHVC Drive It Day

Post by David Morris »

Hi there,

To celebrate the National 'FBHVC 'Drive it' Day, the Severnside Section are planning to get together for a Sunday Lunch at The Plough, Pilning on the 22nd April 2007. We plan to arrive around 12.00, for our lunch at 12.30. I believe the carvery lunch costs £7.50p.

All Jowetteers ( and Jowetts of course ) would be most welcome, but do let me know if you plan to come, as we need to let the venue know. My phone number is 01225-837378.

All the best,

David

Hi there,

We had four Jowett's arrive at The Plough at Pilning this afternoon - Chris and Angela Cole's Javelin, Peter Holden's Jupiter, Matin and Steph Benning's Javelin and our Javelin.

In contrast to Drummond Black's post, we saw quite a few classics during the journey to and from The Plough. The weather was lovely and warm and the food great. There were 15 of us for lunch and a good time was had by all.

All the best,

David
