This seems to be a late vintage or early pre-war steering box, and as such will be a rare item.
It's less robust than my 1934's box.
The seller has other pre-war Jowett parts.

This auction has ended, and I hope that either Jowett Car Spares, or a JCC member has snapped up this steering box for £10 plus postage.

I do not think there is anybody in JCS who monitors ebay and other sources of spares for such things. Perhaps there is a job for some volunteer?
