Does anyone recognise this distributor?
It has a 'Lucas' shaped label which is illegible due to damage and I have been unable to find any sets of contact points that even closely resemble the ones fitted. Also there is a space for a condenser in a 'hollow' at the outside below the bowl.
Is this the correct dizzy for a 1930 engine or is it possibly an even earlier one that fits?
Any information would be very welcome!

Re: Vintage distributor
Since that post I have been running the car occasionally without major problems although I have had to rebuild the condenser.
I have still not found a source for the contact set so I may try to fabricate a replica - just in case I need it. It should be possible to incorporate the actual contacts from a more recent set. I wonder how long even these will be readily available?
I am reluctant to go 'electronic', but does anyone have experience of this with a 6volt system?
