As many readers will already know (really?!) I have been repairing my 1930 fabric saloon for a number of years but with it 'on the road' again I have been trying to piece together its early history, with limited success.
Following a suggestion by Noel Stokoe, I contacted the newspaper group in the Guildford area where the car was originally sold and close to where I found it in 1966.
They very kindly published a nice article with a couple of pictures and this was picked up by Noel's son and 'posted' on Faceboolk where I know several members have seen the article. (I am not on Facebook but I have seen the article there).
Someone there asked if I had any results. Sadly the answer is 'No'. Perhaps the new rally season may elicit a response.
I still live in hope!
