A word of warning! Modern browsers can fill in forms automatically, if you let them. This can have undesirable results. So if things appear that you did not put in to some fields then it is sensible to delete them. You can switch this feature off in the browser.
Your profile is used for a number of things, among them you can request JIS . Select the 'Profile' tab and 'Edit Profile' from the menu.
If you have not recently registered for JowettTalk (or if you did not fill your profile in correctly when you did) then you should update these profile fields. You need to click the JIS radio button if you want to use club services.
To change your password you need to enter your new password twice and your old password. Make sure there is nothing in the 'Confirm email address' box. Click 'Submit' and make sure there are no red messages displayed. If there are, take appropriate action. If there are no red messages, go back to the Board Index or anywhere else in the UCP. Do not re-enter your passwords.
To change your email address, enter your new address into the 'Email Address ' box and also the 'Confirm email address' box. Also enter your current password. Click 'Submit' and make sure there are no red messages displayed. If there are, take appropriate action. You will now have to wait for an activation email before you can login again. NOTE. If you already have JIS access and are a member of JCC UK then you can inform the Membership sec by changing your membership details. You MUST do this prior to changing your email address in the UCP to retain access to JIS.
If you want to change the language the Forum displays messages then you can do this like this.
Once you have read all the posts, I find it better to have them displayed in descending (by time) order, so that the youngest is first.
Users of JowettTalk may send you private messages (PMs). You will be notified by email (if that is switched on) and you will see you have new messages next to the User Control Panel link above.
You can send messages from here as well. Those that have not been read will remain in your out box until moving to your sent box.
