I'm sorry to have missed this event (back in Wales yet again!).
Did anyone manage to get to the Black Lion this year? Does this constitute a Jowett meeting?
Speaking to one of the entrants earlier this year he was of the opinion that entry numbers would be down, not just because of the £350 fee (most owners can afford that) but because the organisation has deteriorated and anyway one can drive from London to Brighton in a veteran (or any other vehicle) any day of the year and probably with less traffic hassle. Less fun though.
For JCC purposes it might be worth considering making the Spring L 2 B HCVC run one of our 'should go' events.
