Bradford query in Practical Classics

Post by Jack »

In Practical Classics this month someone is trying to track down a Bradford, reg no JSF 253.

From the reg no it should have been registered in Edinburgh between Nov 51 and March 52, however this is where the trail goes cold.

I have checked with Paul and unfortunately he doesn't have records for this car, but from the dates would expect this to be a CC model.

Has anyone got any info that we can share with the grandson of the owner? I can't imagine there are many members sitting on lists of registration numbers that have not found their way to the registrar, but just in case it was in a garage somewhere.

In the same magazine is a nice write-up of the Goodwood Transport Corps experience where club members met several of the team at PC, worth picking up a copy for that feature alone. And it has a little pic of Amy's car waiting for a fare.

Jack.

There is a Javelin in the register , Reg .No. JSF422, reg on 22 Dec 1951 so on that basis the Bradford would have been a Dec 51 register , presumably from the same dealer in Edinburgh. The owner of the Javelin is listed ,he might know who the dealer was . Bob
