Javelin project - looks like a De-lux - Runs but requires restoration - its changed hands a couple of times over the past 18 months but don't let that put you off - original E bay auction which ended last week without a sale as the starting price was too high - however its now back on E Bay as straight auction with a lot lower starting price - its currently bid to £162.00 the auction ends on 30/01/14 @20:06 Hours

1951 Abbott bodied Jupiter - project for restoration - car runs & drives but requires full restoration registration number: WPC 121 (originally registered RPA 7) this is a rare car believed one of just 2 cars built by Abbott on to a Jupiter chassis - it is for sale with a Cornwall based dealer but is carrying a hefty price tag of £18,750

Interesting that the special is up for sale again. As it was last for sale at auction at "Sherborne Classics at the castle" back in July by the same auctioneers. I only found out later that it was one of the auctioneers running the auction had bought it.

Talking running ahead but the Classic and Sports Car I received before Christmas was for February 2014. It carries a report on the NEC and features the Abbott Jup of Tom Chapman.

The gold Javelin has appeared several time in recent years . LNP 767 was registered on 01/03/1953 , it is one of the 14000 series of javelins which were made in 1951 intended for export but never left the UK , the factory reworked them . In this case it has some deluxe features but according to the 2008 register is an "S". The sellers notes would indicate it needs more work than is apparent from the pictures , but with prices for good Javelins rising who knows ?? Bob
