Jowett 8hp for sale.

Hi Guys,

Just joined the site last week, so i hope its ok to post this here.
I'm afraid the time has come to let my 8 go.
Dad and I have just taken over my grandfathers (Arthur Wood) Javelin that he has owned for 44 years. It needs a fair bit of work and i really dont have the space for 2 cars, coupled with the fact that i am currently buying my own place and could do with every penny i can lay my hands on!!!!!!!!!

Right about the car!!
1939 8hp Saloon Deluxe.
Some of you may know the car better as Bill Locks old 8.
I have spent a lot of money over the last couple of years totally rebuilding the engine, including relining the bores, new pistons, reground crank with new mains and re white metalled big ends. Along with a whole host of other bits done.
The car is in grey with a blue coach line, and in very nice condition.
The interior was completley restored by Roy Flower by Bill when he owned the car.
It's featured in this months jowetteer in the east anglian section report.

Im looking for about £4750 for it.
Depending on the deal delivery may also be possible.

The car is located near Norwich in Norfolk.
