Nimal a new member in Sri Lanka has a Javelin which he wants to rebuild so he is looking for parts including4 doors with windows, bonnet which I will give him and a boot lid plus a running engine and gearbox and other odd bits .
Ian at Jowett spares may help in the first instance but as overseas secretary I would like to ensure that he gets the help he needs and I am sure that I can persuade him to keep up the blog so we need to allocate him one of Keith's project numbers so what will it be .
Nimal would also like to buy a fully working Javelin to import but the rules are like Australia after the war they have to be KD and this is usually a case of removing the bonnet and doors and shipping them in separate consignments.
I will be keeping up with the progress

Re: New project ( overseas
Hmmmm! This looks like it could be a very interesting 'project' to watch - even at the distances involved.
I hope Nimal has both the necessary knowledge - (or willingness to learn!) and the patience - Oh the Patience - that will be needed!
I wonder where the original bits went?
Are there any company records of exports to Sri Lanka (Ceylon as was)?
