Good morning Keith,
I’m not in any club but just about to purchase a Bradford Jowett Utility van.
Can you let me know who would be able to give me advice on price I should be paying?
It’s a 1948 barn find – photos attached. 29,600 miles on the clock?
Regards - Julian

Re: Valuation please?
I'd take the address and phone no off the bottom of that one, we can offer an opinion without it.
My call is a few hundred - even if the barn is dry, there is a lot of work there to get it to A1 condition, and at the end of it a Bradford is not the most valuable car on earth.
Jack.

Hi Julian, I am the Jowett CAr Club's Bradford Registrar and I will give you a call one evening.
This will be a CB model Bradford and spare parts for this are readily available, so its value will very much depend on the state of the timber frame. If this is in reasonable condition then it is probably worth approaching £1500 in non running condition. If thew frame is in trouble, especially in thge cab area then this will probably halve. If you are simply thinking of buying it to put on Ebay then recent sales there have struggled to pass £500.
