Choose 'Save as' on the file menu and see what it gives you as alternatives.
You could try sending me the file by email (it might work) and I will have a go.
Saving as a jpg may not be good, as things may become blurred. GIf or Png should be OK. TIFF is probably the best as it is lossless (it does not loose any definition from compression)
