Is there any pictures showing a complete original bradford tool kit? Be interesting to see.PAUL BEAUMONT wrote:Hi Hendrik,
The Bradford came with a tool roll of tools, several spanners, pliers, a small grease gun, plug spanner etc as well as a wheel brace, crank handle, screw jack and operating bar, for authenticity it would be good to replicate these, but unless you intend traveling vast mileages probably only the kit to change a wheel, plugs and points is really necessary. Certainly carry a spare pair of plugs and set of points and have recovery insurance!
Others will have other ideas I'm sure but the above is more or less what I carry.

I am aware of certain person who would custom make the roll for you - would not be too much of problem or stupid in cost either - and once one has been made they could be made to order - I would think that they were made from a hardwearing canvas material originally - If you could lay the tools out in size order first on paper in order to make a pattern - take a image and forward the patten - I could get Sharon to have a quick look at it for you - that is unless you are pretty good with an industural sewing machine yourself Paul

Ok! I know the main tools, it is the more unusual ones that I need to check up on. As I recall the roll was a sort of green colour canvas with black binding to the edges. As soon as I can sort I will lay something out for you.
